Jumeirah Private Residence

For this residence in Jumeirah, the central design decision was to shape the interior through a dark, warm palette without allowing the spaces to feel heavy or enclosed.

The design began with the spatial organization. Materials and execution techniques were then selected in response to the same underlying logic. Lighting was developed as an integral part of the design to control reflections, reveal textures, and create depth across the darker surfaces.

The combination of warm light, reflective surfaces, and textured materials gave each space a distinct character while maintaining continuity throughout the residence. Color, light, and material were not treated as separate layers; they were developed as parts of a single, integrated system.

The result is a warm, composed interior in which darkness creates depth and focus rather than visual weight.
