Architecture and art are not
separate disciplines in my practice.
They are two ways of shaping atmosphere, memory,
and human experience.
Each work begins with a search for meaning before form.

Some spaces are felt before they are understood.
Atmosphere is what allows a space to remain in memory.
Why Some Artworks Remain Unfinished
Not every artwork reaches completion through a straight and predictable path.
Sometimes it is precisely the open question that keeps a work alive.
Black Is Not the Absence of Light
Black has weight. It has dignity. It has a silence that is not empty.
When used with precision, black is not the end of seeing.
It is the beginning of seeing more carefully.
