Tropical Wellness Pool

This approximately 350-square-meter indoor pool and wellness area was designed and fully executed for a private villa in Lavasan. The program included the main swimming pool, a jacuzzi, steam and dry saunas, and a dedicated snow room, bringing several contrasting thermal experiences together within one interior.

A dark material palette established the architectural identity of the space. Rather than making the pool area feel enclosed or heavy, the darker surfaces were used to deepen reflections, control the atmosphere and give the water a stronger visual presence.

Tropical planting was introduced throughout the pool area as an essential part of the design rather than as decoration added later. The contrast between dense greenery, dark materials, humidity and reflected light created an environment that felt both private and closely connected to nature.
