Benisa Luxury Plant Store

Benisa was an approximately 500-square-meter luxury plant store located within Iran Mall in Tehran. The central design challenge was to present plants as carefully selected objects rather than arranging them in the manner of a conventional garden center.

A dark interior palette was developed to reduce visual distraction and allow the color, structure and natural detail of each plant to become more visible. Rare specimens were displayed inside dedicated glass showcases, giving them a stronger presence and creating a more curated retail experience.

The project also required particular attention to its technical environment. The plants needed controlled ventilation and sufficient humidity, while customers had to remain comfortable as they moved through the store.

The interior systems were therefore considered together with the display design, so the atmosphere could support the plants without feeling excessively warm, damp or unpleasant.
