Hard Rock Restaurant

Designed in Dubai in 2011, Hard Rock Restaurant was developed around a dark and warm interior atmosphere. The material palette combined wood, leather and natural stone to give the space a sense of depth, comfort and established character.

Rather than relying on excessive decoration, the design used the natural texture and richness of these materials to create a luxurious environment that still felt welcoming. Timber introduced warmth across the main surfaces, leather strengthened the intimate character of the seating areas, and stone added visual weight and permanence.

The restaurant’s most distinctive element was a custom bar created through a combination of glass and mirror. Reflections, transparency and controlled lighting gave the bar a more dynamic presence within the darker interior and allowed it to become the principal visual focus of the restaurant.
